Woven Ribbon Star
In this class you'll learn foundation paper piecing techniques while creating a stunning project that comes together quickly and is perfect for showcasing your favorite fabrics. Finished size is 30" x 30" (inches).

| Requirements: | Woven Ribbon Star Quiltworx Pattern (Obtain prior to class, as you will need to prepare papers if possible, and have your fabrics selected) Fabric Yardage (Requirements for project listed on back of pattern) 1/2 yd background. 6 Fat 1/8 or 6 FQ. Sewing Machine with Power Cord, Foot Pedal, 1/4" foot (or ability to adjust to sew 1/4") Scotch 3M Repositionable Glue Stick (Instructor will have some of these available in class as they can be hard to find) New Size 70/10 Microtex Sewing Needles School Glue Stick (Fabric to Paper, such as Elmer's or UHU) Quality Cotton Piecing Thread to blend with fabric 50 wt Fabric Glue Stick (Fabric to Fabric, such as Sewline) Flat-Head Flower Pins Scotch Tape (to fix Papers if needed) Seam Ripper Stiletto, Purple Thang, or Clover Curved Awl (Optional) Rotary Cutter 45mm or 60mm Large Ziplock Bags (3) Large and Small Scissors Paper Clips and Binder Clips (Various Sizes) 3" x 12" and 6 x 18" (or 24") Rulers 4" x 8" Plastic Folding Template (Instructor will have some of these available in class) 12" Add-a-Quarter Plus Ruler (6" Optional) Cutting Mat (18"x 24" or 24" x 36") Acorn Easy Press Pen (Optional) Instructor will have some of these available in class. |

| Instructor Bio: | Come learn from Michelle, owner of Sew Cozy Studio MN in Jordan, Minnesota, as she shares her expertise in the art of paper piecing. Michelle spent 15 years as a Certified Quilt Shop owner and is currently working toward earning her Certified Instructor credentials. She also brings 25 years of teaching experience and is a Certified Longarm Quilting Specialist. In addition, she is in the process of becoming a Certified Judy Niemeyer Instructor. Whether you're new to paper piecing or looking to sharpen your skills, Michelle's wealth of knowledge, practical tips, and passion for quilting make this a class you won't want to miss. Quilters of all experience levels will leave inspired, more confident, and excited to tackle their next project! |
