| Skill Details: | Focus Technique: Piecing Create a stunning Throw size quilt with this pattern and instructions using 2 2 1/2" strip packs. Finished dimensions measure 64" x 76". |
| Materials Included: | Cutting mats Irons, and ironing boards are available in the classroom. Machines are available for use if needed. There will be an extra $10.00 charge for needles and bobbins |
| Requirements: | Fabric requirements are 2 Jelly Rolls or a total of 80 2.5" strips WOF. Best if one set of 40 is a variety of colors and prints, and the second set a contrast. Such as a solid light or dark. Please bring a rotary cutter and mat, rulers, pins or clips whichever you prefer. There are supplies at the shop, but if you have your own it is a good idea to bring them with you. Come ready to laugh, learn, and have fun. And hopefully fall in love with the art of making quilts. |

| Instructor Bio: | Amy Bowles is the Public Health Division Director and Community Health Board Administrator for Beltrami County. With a passion for serving and empowering others, Amy leads with vision and isn’t afraid to dream big. Her commitment to connecting with the community is what brought her to Bemidji, where she feels blessed to serve the people of Beltrami County. Beyond her work in public health, Amy finds joy in quilting, seeing it as another opportunity to build connections and positively impact the health and well-being of her community. Amy has been married to her husband, Jason, for nearly 26 years, and have three children. When she’s not sewing, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors and bringing laughter to those around her. |
